Dale’s passion for the building and fencing industry started at the early age of 19 when he came to work for Dutch Way Builders. Within only a few months, Dale had worked his way into a management position. Soon after, in 2000, he became a part owner, eventually becoming the sole owner of Dutch Way, LLC in 2012. He prides himself on the family business he has helped to build and strives to provide a quality environment so employees can enjoy their lives outside of work. He recognizes the importance of being flexible and adaptable to every problem thrown his way, letting stress roll off his back and working toward a solution. Dale’s rich experience along with his desire to solve every customer’s unique fencing problem makes him a strong leader of the Dutch Way team.
James is an expert in the fencing industry, coming onboard in 2001 soon after his cousin, Dale, became a partner of Dutch Way, LLC. His typical day involves meeting with prospective clients to provide fencing or railing solutions that work with the style and layout of their home. One of his favorite parts of the job is meeting customers and getting to know their story on a personal level. Not only does James offer decades of experience in the industry, but he also completed the American Fence Association’s Sales Training School, a two-day training that builds on the fundamentals of the buying and selling process. James works to provide attractive, low maintenance, and on-budget products. When he isn’t assisting customers, you’ll find James spending time with his family, backpacking, or even bikepacking—an adventurous activity involving multiday mountain biking, camping, and sightseeing.
Stacey is a true utilitarian, helping his team and clients find practical solutions for their fencing needs.. He has a hand in almost every step of the process, from providing estimates to assisting with fabrication. He joined the team at Dutch Way in 2004 and worked as an installer for the first 15 years. In his current role, Stacey assists customers in the planning phase of their job, helping select a style, color, and material that suits their budget and unique sensibilities. He gets great fulfillment out of building personal relationships with customers and takes pride in the quality product and installation from Dutch Way. Outside of work, Stacey is an avid saltwater fisherman, often traveling to the Chesapeake Bay in his spare time. You may also find him at a BBQ with his family or hunting on the weekend.
Angela is a seasoned veteran at Dutch Way, joining the team in 2002. She spent over 20 years in sales, where she built valuable relationships with customers and learned the ins and outs of product ordering and invoicing. With a depth of accounting knowledge, the natural next step for Angela was to shift into the bookkeeping position in 2023. In this role, Angela oversees all accounting and has resumed many of the invoicing duties she learned in sales. By consolidating responsibilities, she has helped streamline Dutch Way’s accounting processes and bridged the gap between sales and accounting. When she’s not working, Angela enjoys gardening, swimming, and reading. Most importantly, she loves spending precious time with her grandchildren.
Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. After decades of holding management positions with other area businesses, he joined Dutch Way as the Location Manager in 2003 when they opened their second location in Stuarts Draft. Mark is the face that greets customers when they walk in the door and ensures that every fencing job is of the highest quality. He prides himself on the large base of contractors he has partnered with over the years, and he hopes to continue growing these relationships. Outside of the office, you’ll find Mark spending time with his young grandson or gardening. One of his favorite pastimes is hunting, and he enjoys taking annual trips around the country during hunting season.
Simara is the friendly face that greets customers at the Mount Crawford location. She joined the Dutch Way team in March of 2023 at the front desk, where she handles customer inquiries and scheduling. With a background in office reception, she enjoys building relationships with commercial and residential customers alike as she finds solutions to meet their home and business fencing needs. Outside of work, Simara rarely has a moment of downtime, as she and her husband frequently tend to their beef cattle and vegetable garden. She enjoys spending her free time going for runs with her dog. Simara’s can-do attitude and approachable personality make her a valued member of the Dutch Way team.
Adding a fence, deck or railing to your home is simple when you work with our experienced professionals.
Scheduled at your convenience, a Dutch Way pro will visit the site of your project to measure and discuss options. We will provide samples so you’re able to touch and feel the product before making your selection.
Following the onsite consult, we will provide you with an estimate for your project. We ask for a 25% deposit upon acceptance of our proposal.
On the morning of your installation, we’ll meet with you one final time to ensure the project is on track, and our expert install crew takes things from there.
